    Lines per inch

Hello, have a customer that has a KM C353 with a Fiery IC 409 on it and the customer wants to change the lines per inch for prepress applications with Corel. Can not get the machine to change line frequency no matter what settings. Wandering if anyone has ever dealt with this, customer says he used to have a cheap printer that would do it. Thanks

You would think if a cheap printer has that setting a Fiery should too huh?
The LPI can be changed in the print driver, under the quality tab->halftone screen. Or in server setup-> ps setup-> define halftone screens and you can define custom screens and LPI.

The kicker is you have to have the "Graphic Arts Package" premium edition installed in the Fiery. I don't know if it's standard with KM Fierys or not, but I think it will say on the config page if the package is installed.
