Question RICOH MP C5000 Scan destinations

    Hello!

Is there any way to list the destinations according to the user logged in?
    Example:
user A can only scan to destA, destB, destC
user B can scan to destA, destC, destD
user C can scan to all

    Hope you got it

    Thanks

Probably not exactly what you're looking for, but you can protect each destination with a password - the "protect destination" option.

    Yes

Using Windows Authentication and having Home Folders in AD setup this is possible.

Thank you all for your replies.

I will see if the protect destination option is viable. The machine is at an university and there will be quite a few users.

    Thanks

Does anyone use windows authentication for copiers lol. Ricoh has 1 address book and to my knowledge there is no way to configure the screen per user.

I have an account, also a university, that is using global scan and equitrac to do their scanning and printing like you need. The users just print to the "public" printer and can go to any copier on campus and print out their stuff. For scanning, from any copier on campus they can only see their shared drive on the network when they login with the equitrac. The professors can scan to more destinations and I'm sure they have an admin than can scan to all. hope that helps!
