E Studio 28 on home network

Hi,
I am trying to set up a Toshiba E Studio 28 with a GL1040 network adapter on a home wireless router. It is connected to the router by a LAN cable. I have been able to use it, but only if the computer I installed it on is on. Do I need to set up an IP port on every computer it is used on? I've worked on copiers for 25 years, but don't have much experience with networking.

Either set one machine up and share it from there, the machine that shares it must remain on. The other way is to set it up on each individually and that will require each to have the port setup properly.

Install the printer driver on each computer using a standard tcp/ip port. You can add a new tcp/ip port during the driver installation or after the driver has been installed. To add a new tcp/ip port just click on "add port" in the printer properties "ports" tab.
