Hi, I have a Xerox Workcentre 5638 (internal controller) and a Workcentre 5655 (external controller) in the same office.

I set both of this machines up to scan to email. Everything works fine with I set them up and test them. They both work fine with the public address book and manually entering the email address.

But, when I leave the customer's office. About 30 minutes later, they would call me back and can't send emails. They are still able to send emails if they enter the address manually, but not through the address book.

If I restart the machine, everything will work again for a while.

I've tried change the controller on the 5655 but the same thing happens. I suspect that it's the HDD on the controllers, but it seems like a weird coincidence that this would happen to 3 different HDD's. Or could it be I just have bad luck with this machines at this particular office?
