    Excerpt taken from C3224 SM:

    5-801-11 NCS
Initializes the system default and interface settings (IP address also),
SmartNetMonitor for Admin, WebStatusMonitor settings, and the TELNET settings.

Once again, the "supervisor" login is not applicable on the MFP (C3224) "unisys12" is inquiring about. The PDF you attached is clearly referencing a "MP 4500" which has a newer security feature set than the older MFP's.

    .
    Model TH-C1
    (Machine Code: B156/B220) 3224c same as Dsc424
so I think we are discussing the sex of the angels.
I know it´s a 3224c but the GW is the same. is your service manual the same as mine (Ricoh), theres no 5-828-74 on this service manual. Listen! I´m not better than anyone else, I´m the same as all of us here, a TECH, and I´m just trying to help, I know the experience was on a MP 4500, but it´s a WIM issue and as the GW are fairly the same I tried it out and it work so I posted it only to try and help. OK, see the PDF

Discussing the sex of the angels. I like that, I dont know what it means, but I like it.
I dont have a 424 manual but on page 5.40 of the 224 (B051) the previous box, this 5828-74 appears.

" is an angel a male or a female" LOL, Dsc224 does not have the same built in GW, if you were to use scan to folder you´d need to install scan router.

    hard reset

You have to clear the memory and reset the device. That will clear the password in the device.
