Cool. I can be a test mule if needed. I work primarily on the network side of the field and would be able to use something like this in anger most days.

To those people who expressed interest in beta testing the IT-Toolbox software
you should have received a download link in a PM.

Let me know if you have problem getting the zip file to uncompress.
I will post the MD5 here if there is any problems. The compressed file size is 7.614 MB in size dated 22-06-15 at 12:15 pm download from server.

There is no installation procedure just drag and drop the entire directory structure any where you wish ie. HDD or USB stick.

I haven't tried it with WIN7. It works thats ok.
The program uses the current directory as default and stores that in the "PROGRAMDIR" variable in the "CONFIG" tabsheet.
The program couldn't find the ittb\box\ directory so it loaded the four default WINXP,WIN7,WIN8,OTHER toolboxs as "default.box."
You should be able goto File|Open and load any of the above four toolbox's from the \box\ directory.

The program builds a unique user identifier code first time it executes. This code is unique to that program instance only. You should write down the GUID number in case
you wish to sell/rent your knowledge base toolbox to other users or your apprentice.
The GUID is your proof of ownership.

The four toolbox buttons WINXP,WIN7,WIN8,OTHER, are own by me they will expire in one month.
You need to start with a blank tool set and then "save as" over the above four file names with your own GUID code signature. You can change the above 4 name in the "Config" tabsheet. Use short name so they fit on the button face.

If you import someone elses toolbox you will be prompt with their user name and password each time you run that single toolbox set.

Re: All in one I.T. Tech software.

When people feel they have a good general understanding of the software, I will post a few examples of how to use the "SUBST" tabsheet programming language. You can then program your own popup menus, ip-adress, output text ,warning text, cost control, machine and file i/o text.

Once people know how to use the "SUBSTITUTE" program sets you should be able to program the command line to suite any 3rd party software. From there you can store complex commands to a button. Just right click any button and copy the command lines to save to the current button; then save to any toolbox file.

Any feed back from the POC test so far fella's.

    Hint :
How many have worked out to left click any button to populate the main command line fields , then right click a new button use it as copy any paste to duplicate the commands to the new button?

Re: All in one I.T. Tech software.

I keep getting invalid date errors. The error dialog listed the date as either in July or December of '15, so I guess it doesn't like the future.
It did the same thing with win8 and other .box loaded. I've got 64 bit Windows 8.1 on this machine, and the sleuthing around I did makes it look like that might be bit of a setback (the hex window in FileAlizer 2 said "This program must be run under Win32" when I looked at a couple of the .exe files).

    invalid date.pdf

Sorry about the .pdf, as of this very moment I am unable to upload .jpg images.
