is it just the screen freezes or can you still print? if its the screen try recalibrating the touch screen. if its the screen may need the touch glass under neath.
When you can print and you can not touch any function on touch screen - you must change touch screen. When you can not print, I think it is a formatter board.
Are there any error recorded on the management list? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Replaced touch screen Can not print. Which is formatter board. What about firmware/Originally Posted by spree
Touch screen was replaced but the print button does not respond either. Someone mentioned formatter board? haven't checked mal function history (no codes). What about firmware?
It's kind of outdated, but it may be RAM failure. On the newer series that was the issue - screen shows image, but is not touchable nor you can print.
