What is normal? Sometimes 5, sometimes 1. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I work on PPD Only (Konica and Ricoh) and unless the customer has more that one machine on site that's causing issues then one call per day.
But to be honest if you're doing a proper MCP you can't do more.
sharp polaris machines are very easy to service and pm. We rebuild fusers at the shop. Aside from wacky codes you can typically be in and out in an hour
I should go color..... i work on B/W and have like 10 calls per day average....

Production machines are quite a bit different than run of the mill copiers. The people are more knowledgeable about operation but pickier about the output quality. Most Ricoh production are built as replaceable assys. You swap and rebuild cores in shop. Fusers on some assemblies take 2-3 hours alone. An answer to your question is it depends. We do not have many production machines company wide so most of us work on entire line. I only have 2 production machines and I see them on average 1xmonth. Swap out assemblies and have the customer running within an hour. Rebuild assemblies about 4 hours/month average.
I've proved mathematics wrong. 1 + 1 doesn't always equal 2.........
Especially when it comes to sex
That depend your preventive maintenance
Make all what you should doing with your preventive maintenance and i promise you
Your calling will reduce.

I don't know why you would separate bw tech from color. The engineering is basically the same.
But i average 3 calls a day. Sometimes i have 6.
