Hi,

I'm really stumped please help....

I've followed the setup word for word using the setup guide. I've created an email address on our SMTP server.

the settings are as follows which i have put in to the machine...

SMTP : (set one)
port number: 25
smtp Authentication: Valid
smtp: username : (set one)
pop before smtp : invalid
direct internet FAX XMT: invalid

pop server : (Set one)
pop port : 110
pop user : (set one)
apop auth: invalid
auto pop recieve: valid
delete pop recieve: valid

When I attempt to send an email from the machine an error 726 appears.

cause : Incorrect POP server address set
: Incorrect SMTP server address is set.

I've used these settings in outlook and they send and recieve emails fine from the address but no joy from the machine. It seriously has me stumped!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Try using the IP address for the SMTP server instead of the host name if you haven't already.
