    printing adobe files.

This is not a brand exclusive topic and google has verified that for me so here it goes...

What could causes your machine to only print out half of a adobe file? "print as image" is selected, but I got a message from a client today saying that it still occasionally cranks out half of the page only. There's something about defective pdf data/fonts and things that I know, but is there a cure?

All walks of toner monkey(as to grease monkey) comments welcome.

This is from a Kyocera 250Ci.

    appreciated

Print-As-Image would have been my first choice.
Second choice would be PCL XL print emulation.
Thirdly, I'd try the version 5.2.1108g print driver, or just change versions up or down.
Fourth, I'd increase the host buffer.

What version of Adobe? Reader or Professional? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Just for laughs, try a PDF reader other than Adobe.

Personally, I like FoxIt, but there are others, all free.

I've seen a bunch of issues with Adobe that have been fixed by using different reader apps.

In all honesty, I am not a fan of using "Print as Image", at least not on a regular basis. While it can solve various text and other issues, it tends to make the print file much larger (therefore slower) than it needs to be.

The irony is that Adobe created the whole PDF thing, but they seem to have the most issues printing them.

Agreed on the "print as image" usage.

I used to think this feature solves all but apparently this is only for corrupted files.
