RP 3105 thermal print head into a FR 3950?

My FR 3950 makes white lines on the master and I was wondering if I could change its thermal head for the head that's in my RP 3105 (it's busted and we use it for parts).

The FR is in really good shape so we don't want to let it go.

Cool Re: RP 3105 thermal print head into a FR 3950?

The TPH has/will probably always be different across models, I can't even remember what an FR TPH setup is like... I think the FR 3950 was 600 dpi and RP 3105 was 400 dpi??? If connectors are the same and how it moves up and down are the same go for it, worst case is you blow up the FR main board and then you can get a machine made this century But I doubt it will all match up and you'll get that far to try
