    Using Riso Z ink in V8000

    Hello,

    I accidentally bought a green riso ink (S-4259E) but I have a V8000 machine and the store I bought it from said that I can refill an empty cartridge with the Z-series ink. But I read somewhere that the inks are not the same?(soy based Z vs water based GR).
    'Maybe I am wrong about this...

    Pretty sure it's all soy based now, if you're getting new / fresh GR ink anyways, they stopped making the non soy, oil based ink a long time ago?

    Yes, people often transfer ink from Z tubes into their tubes for older machines since it is easier to buy the Z type ink.
