Gestetner CP6244/Ricoh JP4500 E-40 error

I have checked all the connectors, can someone clarify if the thermal heads needs replacing or look in another direction.
I have very little experience with these.

Take this with a grain of salt, as I've only worked on Riso duplicators. Also, you might want to ask about this on the Ricoh forum as well to see if they can help.
However, that kind of looks like a thermal head error, so you might check its connections. If that works, good deal. Otherwise, unless someone familiar with that machine speaks up first with actual useful information, you probably don't want anything to do with it, as at least on Risos the thermal head was the most expensive part.
