Angry Riso GR3750 STUCK IN "Ready to make Master" mode

My GR 3750 won't print, test copy or make a master.
I've removed & re-installed the master roll several times.
It doesn't advance the master material or cut off excess master material.
I turn off machine & start again, push Start and get "ready to print"
or "ready to make master" over & over again. Ocassionally it reads a T2 code.

Any suggestions on what to try next?
Thanks,

Dana Lewis

Very Interesting

I would start with this. Some times you have to have a minimum number of copies entered in before the machine will do anything. Try putting in the quantity 50 before you start to make a master. If you can not key in anything then I believe you have a larger problem. Hold down the MP and the LP buttons while the machine is off. Turn on machine. This should put you in test mode. Type in 90 and press start. This is a reset of the machine. If this does not fix it, then I would point to a bad board. They that and tell me what happens.

LOL

At my self sorry about the last sentance it is early and I need more coffee. "try that and tell me what happens" Please do not push in any other codes while in test mode. It will only cause you troubles.

Hey joels12.

Thanks for yor expretise!
You were spot on with your advice.
After two weeks of tearing out my hair trying everything I could think of, your advice on how to re-set the machine had me back in business in seconds. Cannot express enough my appreciation.

RISO GR3750

Dear Sir/Madam

My Riso GR3750 is not lifting paper tray when i put papers in the tray and does not lower the tray when i take out the papers, but of late it was lowering tray when they are no papers and lifting tray as soon as i put some papers on the tray. How do i reset this machene or how do i solve this problem? While i was reading the forum i found that someone said it can reset by holding MP and LP while switching on machine but my problem is i cant see these two buttons(MP and LP)Where are they located? If i say print it will feed when the tray is still down.If you have service manual maybe you can email it to my email adress nrsmoyo@yahoo.com I would appreciate any help as to how to solve this problem. After trying to print while tray is down it will give error T2 call service. Please help,Thanks
Best regards
