    Print controllers fo cr1610

    I am looking to add a print controller to a 1610 and have the chance of a sc3000 is this compatible and is it possible for a non-engineer to fit. If not what am I looking for?

    Not sure of the model you need but why would you want to add this to a machine that is practically obsolete.Parts have become scarse for this model and the newer models run so much better.Yes they do cost somewhat more but in the end will run better and longer than the older models.

    I have just bought the machine brand new in the box as it was over-stock from a large consignment. I know it is the old model but it is literally brand spanking new and the cost was just to good to pass up also it is ideal for what I need, it is just the the print controller would be very useful to add on.

    Well i just wanted to ask why you would but now i do understand.Since the machine has been in the box for quite awhile,you may want to check the disposal belts.They usually will be hanging off the rollers after all the time sitting idle.
    As for the print controller,i am not sure they had one for this model but the SC300 may be the only one that will fit.I think it is the oldest.
