    Paper feed problem for GR3750

The feed rollers will sporadically, but too frequently, pick up several sheets of paper at the same time instead of just the one. Any ideas on how I can correct this.

    Thanks.

Adjust the separator angle. If not, then change the stripper pad out.More likely that the pad is worn out.

    Attempted solution

Thanks for that. I found the two dials that adjust the angle and pressure of the stripper and advice in the manual to adjust the stripper head angle first. Will try these and see if I get a result, otherwise I'll have to consider a new stripper head. Thanks for the pointer.

Hope you are able to get it back going again.Stripper pads are the lowest cost part to replace when troubleshooting a feed issue

Clean also the sensor that controls how fast the feeding table comes up.If the table comes up too fast then presses the paper under the feed rollers and under force they feed many papers.

Changing the angle of the stripper to the recommended range solved the problem. Thanks for everyone's advice.

Multi feeds are sometimes due to the table being too high. Lower it some and that might help if the angle adjustment doesn't do it for ya.

    Fixed

Just to let everyone know that the adjustments I made worked and I no longer get multiple feeds. Thanks for everyone's responses. The other solutions might come in handy further down the road.

    Cheers.

Glad you are sorted and have told us what fixed your problem. Too many threads are left hanging with no solution. That is no help to anyone on this forum.
