My Rp3700 just stop working yesterday. It's alway show" Master remain on print cylinder, remove master" But I try very thing, remove the master, reset the master roll, shut off many time that more than 5 min. But still not working. Any one kindly help.
Could be the timing gears in the rear of the machine have stripped. Remove the rear cover. You can usually see the plastic ( black ) shavings laying on the rear frame of the machine. It will need the gears and to be retimed...whcih is VERY difficult if you dont have a service manual.
Other ideas. If you have older firmware in the machine, the machine can get lost in the master removal mode IF you dont have a master on the drum for it to discard. SO cut a master by hand and lay it on the drum and push the drum back in. When its says to resume master making ( or something like that ) hit "start" and it will remove the hand cut master and hopefully resume working as normal.

I just have a chance work on it today. But it's still not working
Hi
I have had a similar problem. Behind the master unit there is a sensorunit that detects whether the master is on the drum. Mine wasn't aligned proberly so i gave it a gentle push towards the drumroll.
