Riso RA 4200 – RA Drum not accepted (E61)

Hello there,

i bought a blue RA Drum for my Riso RA 4200 second Hand.
But when i put it in, My Riso gives me E61 - Wrong Drum.

I tried to run it in Test Mode and it works.

Does anyone have an idea how to make it work?

It is possible that the dip switches on the drum are not set for your machine. The switches are behind the main cover of the drum.

I'm experiencing a very similar problem on a RC 5600
bought 4 really well kept RC drums, none of them is accepted
They all return a wrong drum exception

by the way the RC drums don't have any dip switch (nor PCB) under the main drum cover

Any help is really appreciated
