GR 3770 " Circle Knob" question

    Hi,

I was just wondering what the turnable knob near the paper feed on the GR 3770 does. It is the one with a series of circles on it. I think it is next to one that accounts for the angle of the feed?

Ran across it while trying to fix paper feed issues and haven't figured out what it does.

    Any help would be great.
    Thanks,

    eric

It's for the sep pad's angle and pressure. You can pop out that whole assembly just by pulling on it from the top. Sometimes they still have the screw in them (on the bottom you'll have to raise up the feed table). Pop it out and play with the dials and see how they work. You'll usually want a sharp angle for stuff like NCR and a flat angle for thick card stock. The angle is relative to the feed roller. (blue or black, depends what it has one it)
    HTH.

    Any more questions just ask.
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
