    Shelf life of Riso ink

Does anyone know how long Riso ink can be stored for and still be useable? If the model matters it is for a GR3750. Can ink that is too old damage a drum?

    Thanks.

Depends on the brand. I have had ink separate after a couple of years and that was oem. I use non oem and had no problems after a year. The only damage would be if it separated and the fluid dripped into the drum. You can easily tell when it is separated by looking at the tube.

Riso stamps the year and month of manufacture on it. Any tubes from before this time we won't use. 2 years max is our cutoff date in a good environment. Using old ink will just make for slower dry time and more ink getting in places you don't want it to in the drum.
