If you dont know what you're doing... be careful with NV-Ram resets because depending on the machine's current FW... You might be half way to kill the printer's NIC firmware, amongst other things.
And i cant see why you want/need to get ito SM to reset the counter...
Get you hands dirty... and replace the reset fuse on the belt.
lol "get your hands dirty" ive replaced most of the parts on this machine, but nothing was resetting itself... ask questions before responding with ignorance.... besides figured out the problem machine had a bad harness replaced and it allowed me to get into the mode i needed to get into before that the machine was locked up hence multiple errors on new units + parts
As far as i see it you're the ignorant one, else you wouldnt be here asking idiotic questions about how the system OKI uses to reset counters works, and after replacing a "bunch" of parts and the counter's not reseting, you find that quite natural and decide to do it thru service mode...
Also maybe next time you should be more self explanatory on your post, as i see it you're the one needing help not me.
If one needs to work with counters on that machine and others, there is a proper software to load/reset/import/export data, counters, configs etc.
Once again i'll repeat myself, you shouldnt reset counters by reseting NV-Ram.
