    Advice on brand of duplicator

We are experienced at printing but know absolutely nothing about digital copying. Currently we have two colour web and sheetfed presses. We thought a digital duplicator would complement our capabilities to service the short run segment of our market. I welcome any input and advice you have on getting something like a Richo digital duplicator. I like the kind where you change the ink drum to a different color.

It depends if you are looking for a one color duplicator or a 2 color duplicator. The quality is another question in itself. The highest is currently 600x600 dpi.

I sell a lot of Riso MZ790 2 color duplicators. The Riso RZ590 or RZ390 is a good single color solution if you can live with 600e dpi.

If not, then I recommend the Riso RZ990 or the Ricoh HQ9000 (same as the Standard SD700).

The main thing is to find out if you can get service in your area on whichever machine that you decide on.

You can browse our inventory for some more information.

stay away from the Riso HC5000/5500 series, as these machines are riddled with print head problems constantly.
