    GR Project

Been doing this for a while, due to a lot of customers with old Risos but still going. This my fifth GR drum that I cleaned and convert into a yellow drum this month.
Some pictures show the before condition and the others the finish drum ready to be inked up.
So if you want to clean a drum and convert it it can be done no matter how bad is the condition or how long it's been in storage.

Would you be willing to post the instructions for this process? I have a GR3750 and it would be really helpful to know how this is done. Thanks for sharing!

It's a lengthy process, you have to diassemble every part of the drum even the ink pump itself, not damaging the pressure spring inside and the seals and as for the squeegee unit you can cleaned it as a unit using alcohol 99.9% and simple green. Make sure you clean every unit, the squeegee unit has some presure spring you don't have to mess with or you will misadjust the unit and overflow it with ink the body and screen also needs to be cleaned with alcohol to wipe off all the ink.
