POSITION PROFILE
Organizes, structures and manages assigned production/shop function to deliver required level of productivity/output and supervises assigned production/shop technicians. Manages and supports at least 20 subordinates. Responsible for set-up and in-center repair of total product line. Responsible for managing costs as well as monitoring and maintaining quality of output to ensure high level of customer satisfaction. Responsible for developing processes to insure continuous improvement in all phases of operations.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages order flow with in the Regional Fulfillment Center.
Manages minimum of 20 Associates in a Pre-Assembly/Configuration environment.
Coordinates setup of all orders to assure equipment meets the customer’s expectations of on time delivery.
Acquires and analyzes quality data on all installs and implement process improvements to result in improved quality of equipment delivered to meet the customer’s and organizational objectives for quality.
Evaluates production policies and processes and implements changes necessary to result in continuous improvement of productivity and efficiency to meet organizational objectives.
Coordinates parts pull processes and other interdepartmental programs to result in the availability of out-of-stock parts to field service within organizational guidelines.
Controls the inventory processes to result in the achievement of organizational objectives in the area of inventory accuracy.
Guides and coaches associates’ work behavior and applies concepts of continuous improvement to result in motivated, productive and energized workforce to achieve/exceed organizational objectives.
Facilitates the selection, placement and development of new associates to assure that qualified applicants are selected who have the skills, knowledge and abilities to function effectively.
Seeks and applies knowledge of the most current technology and innovative developments in the office solutions industry.
Performs other duties as assigned.· Secondary Duties:
Coordinates and facilitates interdepartmental actions and activities, i.e. Service, Sales, BranchOperations, Inventory Control and Delivery Install.
Reviews and analyzes performance data with other Configuration Centers to implement best practices.
Financial Responsibility:
Manages budgets and headcount.
Manages overtime.
Manages associate productivity measures.
Miscellaneous operating expenses.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)
Requires technical degree or minimum of 4 years of technical experience.
Management or leadership skills in technical environment are required.
1-2 years experience in job shop environment or 1-2 years of supervisory experience is required.
3-5 years in a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of job experience is required.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required.
OMD and Oracle are required.
