Long Distance Codes
I have my Fax attached to an Avaya phone system using a PRI Line. We just activated long distance codes on our PRI trunk, forcing us to compose a 5 digit access code after dialing a long distance number. Since our faxes use the PRI trunk, they too have to compose an access code for long distance. I could modify the address book and append a 3 sec pause and then the access code. I do not want to do this because my access code will be clearly visible, and then anyone could use the code.
Is there a way to have the fax machine append the 5 digit code when necessary? I am using a Toshiba e-Studio 3530C and a Lexmark X652de.
Note that my Lexmark X652de does have an option to add a prefix. I need to add the code at the end of the number, not the beginning, so the prefix option will not work.
Thank you
