IRC3300 Error E000602-0003

Hi,
First, it is great to find this site.
when i start my ir3300 then the code will appear E000602-0003
My copier has been giving me the subject error. It did clear after it was left off for awhile, but it came back again today and will not go away no matter how many times I turn it on and off.

I did a search here for that code and did not find anything.

Is this something I can fix. Can you please tell me what it means?

Your hard drive has crashed and needs to be replaced; then system software has to be reloaded. Call your local technician.

you can try using hard disk format tool if the software is on your copier,hold down the '1' and '9' at start up the screen will go blank with a small flashing line on the display it may take several minutes but if it works you will see a line dropping down to the bottom of the screen. it will evenualy fill the sceen and ask you to reboot the machine. this process can take up to 45 mins or so.602-03 error code can just be a bad sector on your hard drive and/or the machine trying write to the hard drive and having a problem doing so.if this does not work need to call local service to replace hard drive and new system software.
