Sorry I couldn't assist you with the proper information about Sharp. I'm strictly Canon.

OK, go for the MXM453. Great machine for that workload. Has everything you want.
Get a quote on having the MXFNX9 finisher & punch unit installed as well. That way you can do stapling & hole-punch jobs on copy/print too.

Sharp Upgrade
Two questions in addition to volume, would be;
1. Do you have a need for 11 x 17 printing/copying/scanning?
2. Do you see a need for color printing/copying/scanning?
If you have a need for 11 x 17 and only black & White, and you want to stay with the Sharp line, then I would recommend the MX-M363 or MX-M453 models. Both will handle that kind of volume. A better bet would be the big brother, the MX-M503 version. Its faster, has a beefier engine and lower CPP , though initially a little more expensive. If you do not have the need for 11 x 17 size paper, then the A4 models like the MX-B401 would be a good choice for that volume.
If you anticipate color needs, as a lot more companies are using color now, you might look at the MX-C3100, MXC4100, C4101 for 11 x 17 needs or the MXC311 or C401 for letter/legal size needs.
All are easy to network and more reliable than the older models.
