    m3035 touch screen.

    ive replaced the control panel, formatter and the damn touchscreen still doesnt work, any ideas?

    What does the control panel plug into? Maybe look at replacing that cable or that board... DC controller maybe?

    Have you tried to calibrate the touch screen ?

    HP LaserJet M3027/M3035 MFP, M4345MFP, CM4730MFP, M5035MFP, CM6030/CM6040MFP, M9040/M9050MFP, HP 9250C Digital Sender - Control panel touchscreen does not respond

    If the touch screen on the control panel is unresponsive, follow these steps to calibrate it:

    • Turn the product Off.
    • Press and hold the number key (#) and the Clear key ©) while turning the product on. A dot will display in the upper left corner of the screen.
    • Release the # and C keys.
    • Touch the dot with a blunt object, such as a pencil eraser, and another dot will display in the lower right corner.
    • Touch that dot and wait for the product to continue the startup sequence.
    • If after performing a control panel calibration the issue persists, replace the control panel.

    turned out to be a damaged ribbon cable from the scanner itself.

    Hi I followed your steps and when the first square appeared on the top right hand corner I pushed down with an eraser several times and hard and held it down and it froze. The second box never came up in the bottom right hand corner. Any suggestions what I can do?
