If you'd like to get the formatter for that machine, the part number is Q7492-67902.This part number may work too: Q7492-69002.
When that machine was new, it could print on paper that was 60 to 220 grams per square meter. But on an older machine like that it would probably be best to not expect the upper limit to work that well.

I agree. I thought that was about a JetDirect NIC card. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I spent some time in Central America thanks to some humanitarian missions my Reserve unit was involved with back in the '90s, and we worked with the local military there then. My Spanish language ability stinks, and they were pretty awful at English as well. So it probably isn't so much translation as just communicating enough to get things done.
Still, while I'm pretty sure about the grams part, I could be mistaken about the print card. Let's wait and see what happens next.
