    HP CM2320 noise in the fuser area

    Hello I have an hp CM2320 that's making a gridding in the fuser are, I have removed and inspected the fuser but I cant seem to find what the problem is.

    Any help will be much appreciated.

    Grinding? Sounds like a worn out drive gear.
    If the bearings and gear look good in the fuser, check the drive gears that sit to the left of the fuser. Make sure they are not worn or dirty.

    Take a closer look at the fuser. The pressure roller bushing on the gear side may be worn causing a gap between the drive assembly gear and pressure roller gear. Also inspect the drive gear as mention.
