    HP color 4700 Etb

    Hello all,

Which part of the Etb that causes this problem in the attachment? Are there any solutions (parts cleaning maybe) other than replacing the whole etb? What causes this to happen?

    best regards,

Why the belt? The black streak would also be affected. I have seen these belts look pretty bad and still make a good print. Are you using aftermarket cartridges?

Yup, it is a problem of the etb because when i replace it with another etb the prints are perfect but when i put it back again the problem comes back. i also installed it on another HP 4700 and the problem comes out. please see attachment. what do you think caused this problem? is there a remedy or another solution aside from replacing the whole etb?

    You should replace it.

Each color has its own little transfer unit. Sometimes one will go wrong while the others don't. I don't know of any way to fix this without replacing the whole transfer belt.
