    Re: Z3200 86.01 error

Thanks for the reply. The lower rail bushing have never been touched. I was talking about the top carriage bushing. I am going to replace the belt and top bushing and see if that helps. Maybe to top bushing is broken and making the carriage hang lower. Also the service station may need to be replaced. When the fan went with the 44.10 it was filled with ink and stopped working. Will report back when i get new ink cartridge (ran out of enhancer).

That top bushing is pretty obvious when it breaks... and as far as I know, it doesn't wear. You should be able to tell just by looking at it. Well, keep us posted on this. These kinds of symptoms often have multiple solutions, and it's good to know any and all information.

Was going to replace belt yesterday but ran into the enhancer problem. Did check the top bushing and looked ok. Will check back later

    Re: Z3200 86.01 error

Went in today and pulled the carriage out and could not believe i missed the missing teeth on belt under the carriage. I thought i inspected the whole belt inch by inch. Top bushing was in perfect shape. Replaced belt and problem gone. Just goes to show you have a really check the belt good. Thanks for all the help from everyone. This was my 1st belt on a Z3200 but have done a few on the HP 5000.

And now you've done them on the z2100, t610, t1100, t1200, etc. There's a couple differences, but they've all got essentially the same engines.
