Access to Service Manuals

Gentlemen,
It looks like I'm going to be a more regular visitor to this page of the forum then I ever thought I would as we have just been signed up as a HP Partner.
Now HP may be a mega giant in the IT industry but they are having a lot of trouble giving us some very basic information like where do you find service manuals for HP printers. I know that HP techs have their own portal but where do Partner techs go to find information?
I've just sat through a 2 hour webinar with a bunch of HP Partner managers all around the world and they couldn't tell us. After about an hour I was starting to lose the will to live as they keep arguing amongst themselves and trying to fob me off with a lot of sales info but couldn't tell me where to go to get basic nuts and bolts how to pull the the box to pieces.

So please guys (sorry, and gals) can someone who gets toner under their fingernails point me in the right direction?

Try feedroller.com they have most HP amd Lexmark manuals on there website.Youtube for getting the covers off in the right order. Mongo

Yes, we've already resorted to Dr Google we were just wondering where the official HP site was hiding.

I just google the HP manuals as I need them. I've never NOT found one.

It's the new form of technical support. Google search, and ask you friends at CTN. =^..^=

I have some of the HP manuals in .pdf. PM me for specific models you need. I have nothing brand-new, but lots of LaserJet and CP/P series newer printers/MFP.
Firmware is publicly available to even end-users!
I've also been working on them since the early ''PC LOAD LETTER" series!!
Certified LaserJet platform specialist! Which means I took and passed the course.

Your distributor and their techs. are the only ones with access to that stuff direct from HP, so you'll have to go through your local distros. BUT I'd strongly suggest you look up any local independent HP parts sellers so you can have more than one avenue for tech. support and parts. I've also gone to Parts Now and Printerworks for tech. support because I buy stuff from them and they're happy to help. And this site of course. And like everyone says you can get nearly every manual online. I've also used youtube videos to help me through tough repairs. If you take the laserjet course, they give you a support number direct to HP. I've used it maybe one time for an under-warranty CLJ. Rest of the time, I go to my suppliers' tech. support after I check the manual.

You'll need access to the HP Channel Services Network (HP CSN):

Use the credentials you use for the Partner Portal (Passport login). You'll be greeted by the main menu. Up in the upper right hand corner, you'll see a box labeled Speedcode (you'll start to memorize the ones you use the most). Input 'TINF' (without quotes). That takes you to all the service related documents. You'll need to use the menus to get to your product. And, I'd save it as once you return from the list of documents, the fields are all cleared (never USED to be that way).

The main Speedcodes I use are: TINF, PART, ICON.

Oh, you'll also need to make sure you know who your PPA is (Partner Portal Administrator). They are the ones that control everything.
