    Angry CP3525 no magenta

have a customer that the magenta doesn't print, here's what I have done:
    1) totally cleaned the machine
    2) disable cartridge check..swap magenta and cyan.. the magenta prints from cyan slot.. no cyan from magenta slot. ( so cart is good )
    3) pushed in and taped down the laser shutter under the cart allowing shutter to remain open.. NO GOOD
    4) replaced the HVPS lower bd. ( no good ) the cart contacts are good and not out of place.
    5) don't think it can be the laser since there are only two for the four colors and yellow ( next to magenta is fine)
    6) engine test provides same results .. no magenta

I have only seen a few of these printers.. never had the issue that the HVPS didn't fix.

    Any ideas?

Looks like you have done most of what is in this bulletin but look it over maybe there is something in it you may have overlooked.

Stop test would tell you if it's a transfer problem.

    no,... no errror

there are only 2 lasers in the unit 1 for Y+M 1 for C+B.. I have been told the mirror in the magenta slot could be out of whack

besides doing the customary cleaning and checking contacts:

no magenta on the drum nor belt during stop test...
    engine test .. no magenta
    marked drum.. drum rotates
taped the PGC in .. no magenta
swapped door actuators ( Cyan to Magenta ) still no magenta
performed all motor tests in diags/components

sooo all roads are leading to the laser even tho no error given

These are for different models, but I'm sure there are part similarities. I would think it more likely one of these rather than a laser.
