    CM6040mfp fuser

Is this normal for this series of machines?

Looks like some film is loose or wrinkled. It actually has moved some on the lower roller.

It doesn't seem to be effecting the prints at the moment. I saw something on HP's website
that talked about delamination but it looked like on that the lower roller had all this film missing and
    was chewed up.

Attached 2 photos of the fuser assembly (machine has less than 30,000 engine cycles)

The wrinkled films are actually the teflon sleeves for those rollers. They prevent toner from adhering to the rollers.
While it may not appear to be affecting prints from the machine at the moment, it likely soon will, either with ghost images or wrinkled prints. You may want to get a new fuser for that machine staged for when that happens.

It kinda looks like someone put a transparency through the machine.
