    hp m600 series

I have a few of these machines out there that developed a squealing noise I greased up (w silicone grease) a couple of the output assemblies and the noise went away. I have some others that no matter what I do I can't get rid of it. If you press on the white support in the middle of the lower exit roller shaft it goes away. Definitly not the fuser or toner cartridge Thanks

We've successfully replaced the delivery assembly & the delivery gear assembly on the P4000 series (practically same engine) to minimize similar noises.

I have had several machines do this P4015/M600 series. The Black Idle/Pressure Rollers on the exit tray do this. There are 4 with tension wires. Be careful and put a drop of oil on each peg of the rollers. It drove me crazy cause when I opened the tray it quit, but eventually came back = Call Back...

When you were talking about the exit tray rollers do you mean the tray on the back of the machine???

I deal with it the lazy way:

"There's no way to tell where this noise is coming from without just guessing at all the different parts. I can either start replacing them, one by one, until it's fixed, or you can wait till the noise is louder or it becomes a more serious/obvious problem.
