    HP M603 ERROR 59.00.30

    HP M603error 59.00.30.
Hi. Thiscode indicate a faulty paper feed motor. I have executed a component check and the paper feed motor works ok, the drum motor doesnot turn, the fuser motor does not work but you can hear a click of a relay. Ihave also checked motors removed from housing in case something is jammed.
I haveremoved formatter and did an engine testI can hear a click of a relay but does not work.
I havechanged drum motor, dc controller board, high voltage board.
    Am I missing something?
    Can anyonehelp?

Did you try a different toner cartridge?

yes I have tried a new toner cartridge. I also connected the new drum motor but did not fix into housing and did a component test and the motor did not work.

    59.00.20 or 59.00.30

Feed motor (M101) failure (start-up or rotational)

Reconnect the connector (J191) on the feed motor and the connector (J91) on the DC controller PCA.
Use the feed motor (M101) drive test in the Component test to verify that the motor is properly functioning. If is not, replace the feed motor (M101).

I don't think its the drum motor, if you continue getting this...59.00.30 error. the DC Controller, would have been my guess.

Try a Pre-Boot Firmware upgrade. Use the Clean Disk item in the Preboot menu. Reload the firmware.

I wander if the service manual is wrong? Let us know what fixes it.

Hi Thanks for your reply. this is what is confusing me, if I do a component test the paper feed motor works. if you remove the formatter if I am right that removes the firmware a engine test should work.

I had this same code on a M601, I was unable to resolve it until I called tech support and they told me the manual is wrong, the code is for the fuser motor. RM1-5051, it worked for me.
