HP1055CM printhead counter reset
Hi,
Do You know if it is possible to reset the counter in a 1055Cm printhead unit?
Thanks,

Not that I'm aware of. Why would you want to?
Practically every DesignJet I've worked on has had printheads that are past their expiration date or recommended usage. No big deal.
If the device has rejected a printhead there's probably something wrong with it.

You're right. This overhead has over 1200ml ink flowing, but it's still working fine.
Thank You!

Re: HP1055CM printhead counter reset
I've seen 10 year old printheads and inks in printers that worked just fine. If the printer displays "MONITOR" for a printhead, it means monitor the output and if you see a problem, replace that print head. The printer does slow down (essentially disables bi-directional printing) when a printhead shows MONITOR. It will say MONITOR purely because of the age of the print head; usually after 12 months of being inserted.
There's a print quality test print you do as well which will show you how all the nozzles are working for each printhead.
