Hi all. I have a HP M630z that has an error of 30.03.23 scanner calibration failure. According to tech support, the web and apparently HP, this is fixed by replacing the flatbed scanner assembly. I have and it didn't. OK, now before I replaced it I had updated firmware, reseated all cables from formatter and to scanner. Even reseated formatter itself.
After replacement, it booted right up into same error code. I again reloaded firmware, checked all connections and did a scanner calibration just in case. It of course failed. Tech support is suggesting replacing scanner board as you transfer it between scanner assemblies during replacement. A very outside possibility might be the formatter.
The printer portion works perfectly, just when scanning, copying, etc. You get massive lines down pages. Lines are about 5/8 inch apart with about a 2 inch "smudge" streak down left side.
Has anyone had any luck with this issue?
Thanks in advance
