    Color LaserJet 3800 question

Have replaced MANY of these Left Slide Cams (RC1-6638), but, ran into an issue with the newest ones I got installing them on a 3800. It looks like HP is making these cams to the CP3505 specs. The CP3505's already use a 'C' clip to keep them in place. That's fine, but, what about the 3600 and 3800's? It looks like the plastic clip isn't "locking" into the slit on the steel rod the cam rotates on. I'm wondering if anyone knows the size of the 'C' clip that's used in the CP3505's?20171005_134929.jpg

    Thanks!!

    7/32" E-Clip keeps things snug.
