HP M252 Cant print on Windows 10
Hello guys,
Have anyone encountered this issue? I have a brand new HP CLJ M252n, installed on a server Windows 2012 R2, shared on all workstations that are running Windows 10 Enterprise edition. When the workstation opens a JPG file, using the default windows jpg viewer and prints, it spools but nothing goes to print. The same thing happens with the previous machine installed, an HP CLJ M475. Any other documents like word, excel, pdf is ok.
PS. The same issue is happening with Konica C554.
Any ideas?
Thanks much

Re: HP M252 Cant print on Windows 10
What about printing a jpg using a differant viewer? Or saving the image in a black word doc then printing it?
I use Irfan view to open & print all image files, a great free tool, you get many useful features like resize image, save image in a differant format etc.
IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide

Re: HP M252 Cant print on Windows 10
On any other viewers, it is printing. From Word it is working as well, along with excel, adobe. We tried downgrading the viewer to the Windows Viewer on Windows 7 and it is printing.
We have no problem with Windows 10 Pro, this one on the site is Windows 10 Enterprise.
A workaround is somewhat last on the option list as the client is a bit hard on using that windows 10 default Photo viewer.

Re: HP M252 Cant print on Windows 10
I've had similar problems with Windows 8 when I was using my laptop to test customer's computers. I don't think I ever found any solution. I believe it's a problem of how Windows talks to the printer. I remember that on a few HP machines I had a problem running firmware updates as well. I think what I finally did was downgraded to Windows 7.
