Multiple M553 print quality issues

When I say multiple, I mean multiple units experiencing the same issue. Getting many issues of single color shading on prints. Sometimes it’ll be magenta, sometimes black, you get the picture. I replace the print cartridge and that clears it up for a few days. Then it may return.

Now, they’re using compatibles and I pretty sure of the answer. I just wanted to throw it out and see if there’s a possibility that I’m missing something.

This issue is happening to a municipality that I service and the mayor is involved and the shit is beginning to hit the fan. They’ve gone through nine defective print cartridges last month. I’m not sure who we are using for our compatibles, unfortunately.
