    Designjet Z6100

Putting the feelers out. Call just came in for the unit posting 93:11 (Unable to pressurize the IDS). CPMD doc talks about replacing APS, tubes and trailey cable. Before that, however, it mentions the carts.

Anyone run across this and can give some suggestions?

    Previous work performed on unit:
2016 - Replaced the ISS to Cartridge Cable for LG cart
2014 - Replaced the belt (wish I had a helper - learned my lesson on the next 60-incher)
2014 - Other "maintenance" related issues

    Thanks!

I can't remember the exact code, but I had one coded two years ago. Code was related to the tube and pressure. I opened the back and found ink dripping from one of the tubes. I replaced the tubes.

I'd replace the ink cartridges first or at least try to identify if any are leaking, then go from there. Look for ink in the air tubes; that would tell you which color(s) has a leak.

Replaced a couple of expired ink cartridges. One with another expired, although just from 2017, as the 2018 one was faulty out of the box. The MK cart (of which I replaced. it was from 2009) had a sticker on it that said "not for individual sale." Thought that was strange. Did these come in some kind of multi-pack? Tubes look good. APS and broken bag diags passed. Printed a couple of internal service prints and the United States of America GIS demo print. Looking good right now.
