    HPCLJ3600

I have a HPCLJ3600 that's throwing a 59.51 code. Removed r side panel and the cyan motor isn't turning. I swapped it with the yellow motor and cyan still doesn't turn. The manual I downloaded from Liberty Parts Team says to replace the Driver PCA (RM1-2581). But looking up the code online, I've found reference to replacing the DC Controller(RM1-2580). In the schematic it looks like the motor plugs into the driver pca board but I'm hoping someone with more hp experience can help clarify. Thanks for any advise. dp

Have you swapped in a cyan toner cartridge? If the toner cartridge won't turn ... well the motor won't either. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Like BC said check for something binding cyan, most likely the cyan toner cartridge. Did you recently put in the cyan toner? With the age of these machines most OEM toners are old and have been sitting for years especially from Ebay, etc. You have to really shake these well. Also if they have been stored in hot environment the toner will melt and turn to brick or cleaning blade will stick to drum. Can't remember if you can run that model without cyan in to see if it codes with it out?

If using aftermarket toners then definitely look at toner cart being bad! I would only use OEM in the HP color models. Since this machine is so old you should be able to find genuine toners online or even Ebay for probably same price as aftermarket. Just make sure to buy OEM toners in sealed "new style" HP box. You can google to see the old and new style boxes.

I went back the try your recommendations and try the disable cartridge check in diag mode. They didn't have another toner to try. But today I reseated the connectors on the driver pca board and it came back to life. Even after reseating it it seemed like kind of weak connection. And once it stopped coding out it gave the unauthorized supplies message. Anyway, Thanks for the replies. Have a goodin'.

So they're crappy generic toner cartridges? =^..^=

Looks like that's the fact. We just took over service and supplies for these. I'm not sure yet what we send them.
