Yes. The #82 is the updated supply number. #10 is the original supply number. Just be sure that the ink isn't expired. It will not print, even if the cartridge is full. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I did not know that... is there a way around it? In the past, I've always used expired supplies.

Not that I'm aware of. I just got done reading a dozen reviews on Amazon about how their discounted ink cartridges were expired and wouldn't do a thing. =^..^=

Were they HP inks, or some refilled/third party? I've never had a problem using 'expired' inks in any Designjet printer.

I also hope people understand; the ink isn't 'expired'. What's expired is the warranty with HP. Once the date on the cartridge is eclipsed HP will no longer honor the warranty on it if it's defective. There's nothing wrong with the actual ink inside the cartridge. I've seen 10 year old inks and printheads work just fine.

There was that recent firmware upgrade because printheads expiring after 2000 wouldn't work. I wonder if they messed with the printer and made it so that expired inks wouldn't work.

I did the firmware upgrade and the expired ink carts still work just fine.

I've not heard of expired inks refusing to print on Designjets. Thought that was only Epson that does that.
