Well, I thought it was "clogged" because I couldn't suck ink through it. I did not know, when I started this thread, that there was a valve.

I swear I hate Parts Here.
They showed a new non-OEM ink supply tube assembly as available. So I ordered it. They canceled my order (refunding my $800), and changed the listing, so that new non-OEM shows Call For Esitmate, and raised the price of the OEM.
I was pissed about it, so I ordered it from someone on ebay...someone who did have a decent reputation. The person never sent the part. I contacted them to try to resolve things, and they waited until the very last day given to them by ebay (before ebay gets involved and forces a refund) before they got back with me, saying "Sorry for the delay--do you want a refund or the part?" Now I'm afraid this person doesn't actually have the part either, and they're taking so long to communicate (5 days after initial contact asking them where my part is), I can't afford to piss off my customer (who has already paid for the part).
So I go back to Parts Here, and order the OEM for over a grand. 4 days later, I don't have a part or a tracking number. I ask them for the tr#, and they respond two days later with this:
How the hell are these people in business? We've looked into the status of your order and the part is being shipped directly from the manufacture.
The current ESD provided by HP is set for 04/18/19
Their website STILL shows the OEM part as "available."
I've solely relied on HP, for over 15 years, and more recently, LPS Computer for parts. A lot of these 'parts' sites, are just ordering it from HP when you order something and drop ship it to you. Another reliable source is Tom Bush. I'll PM you his contact info.
Ebay.. is Ebay. If it's my last resort, I ask my customer to make the purchase so it's under their name.. and let them deal with problem sellers.

Yup. I stopped using them years ago when they did that same s**t to me twice.I swear I hate Parts Here.
They're generally the first people I go to, but they didn't have the part in stock--at least, they didn't show it in stock. The way they worked was that I would send them the ink tube system, they would 'rebuild' it, and send it back. For only a couple hundred more, I could get a new system. Supposedly--apparently, no one has it.
I can see why those tubes are hard to come by. They aren't even listed on HP when I pull parts up by the product number (F2L46A). When I put the part number from the service manual (F2L46-67004) in on the HP site, it says it's an invalid part number.
Are the tubes interchangeable between the 7100 and 7200? I show the 7200 has it's own service manual.
Whoops! I have T7100 on the brain. F2L46-67004 is the correct part number for the T7200. HP shows it on back-order though. At least it's a bit cheaper than the T7100.

I deleted my post above. Sorry about that.

Btw, even if HP shows it on back-order, don't let that stop you from ordering it. They'll ship it when it's available and sometimes ship it immediately because their inventory system seems a bit.. screwy.
Very strange! I swear I don't understand how HP works sometimes........
The Parts Store does indeed at least SHOW it. CSN on the other hand.......
