HP Designjet 111

Hi all,

Have this unit that worked fine for 2 weeks until it asked for a black printhead. Two PH later and it still won't recognize the black printhead.
Things noticed
When you open the access door, the carriage doesn't move, have to manually move carriage slightly to replace PH
Machine will initiate with access door and top cover open
No error codes, just flashes black printhead
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I wish I could help. I don't repair these 'ultra low end' Designjet printers. I'm surprised you're still using one, considering their age and reliability. All I can do is point you to a service manual.

I wouldn't put to much time into a 111. The 130's are barely hanging in there.
