I'm sorry the EMOD didn't take care of it. I would have bet money on that fixing it. You may have an actual bad control panel then.. or the ribbon cable is damaged.

And, I apologize, I should have paid more attention to the model number. Did you follow the directions in the service manual for troubleshooting the 08:11 error using the formatter LEDs?

Hi

Yes I followed the manual and checked the formatter light, it is just the first one that is on.
Tried everything except the panel but it is a crazy price, over €700.. Don't think its worth spending that!

Checked cables also

Did you get this resolved? ....I have read/heard it can be the interconnect board.

As has already been stated, it is probably then the touch control panel, right? But it is very pricey.

You MAY be able to find one on ebay. Have you looked there?

I forget, and I will just state it: Have you checked ALL connections? USB, etc.? and cables?

And a simple thing and maybe this was already mentioned: Did you clean formatter contacts with say by rubbing clean with a rubber eraser, then reseat? Perhaps even try to reseat several times.

....And I question the accuracy/efficacy of the owner's/user's replacement of the formatter w/ hard drive.

....And did you try to reinstall the firmware via booting up on a thumb drive with the firmware installed on it? Perhaps there is a SNAFU with the present firmware.

Probably none of this will help, and maybe you have done all of these.

I'd say you need a known good formatter with the hard drive on it that has NOT been used in another machine (you can't swap them from machine to machine.)

For what it's worth, I think the front touch control panel pn is
CN727–67019 or maybe CN727–67041.

There are a couple or few on ebay. 2 from China $100-$150. One in US? the CN727-67041 (not sure if it would work) for $300-$400.
