HP LJ 500 M575 MFP Horrible noise

This noise is a type of screeching or howling. It is coming from the right side of the machine (I am trying to upload a .AVI Video of this noise but upload keeps failing) The customer says that when they use the optional tray 3 the noise will not occur. They run alot of card stock through the bypass and when they do it the noise will occur louder and louder. We tried to duplicate the problem while I was there with no success. I suspect this happens after long print runs. I am thinking that it may be, sep roller tire screech, and wondering if this is common on this machine. On my first visit I thought it may be the reman toner cartridges and they changed them and the noise is still occurring... Any help will be very appreciated as they are ready to throw this machine out the window...

I would like to see a customer make good on the promise to throw the machine out the window one day! Maybe from a 3rd story window.

No docs on CSN pertaining to this. Probably what you were thinking. Lots of use using heavy stock.

Worst belt assy ever made, 100k yield, bite me hp.
You will be lucky to get 30k out of this shit belt.
U can try removing the cleaning unit, clean the blade and mylar, clean and grease the gears. Must remove gears, almost every service call on this thing is for noise!!!
Technicians worst enemy noise cheaply made printer or mfp versions.

These belts in general (to many models to name) are shit!

HP needs to take notes from other manufactures (Lexmark, Xerox) and make the BELT CLEANER a separate assembly.
