    weird toner question repeating defect

ok I know it is a bad cartridge. but the problem still doesnt make sense.
HP P4015n printer. compatible cartridge 364x. getting a whitish void right to left 1 per page on letter on legal is 2 voids. the spacing is 190mm. nothing in the cartridge has that circumference. the drum is 95ish mm. so that sort of makes sense except for the every other rotation aspect. just tryign to figure it out. already swapped the cartridge and life is good, but curious.
    thanks

Does the voids move or stay in the same location?
Could be a bad HV connection.
    Whatever

Seem to be always within an inch of each other page to page. Hv on catridge? Problem is distinctive to only this cartridge

This sort of thing can be confusing. The key here is that the developing roller does not turn at the same speed as the drum ... it turn much more slowly.

If you were to do an autopsy on the cartridge I think that you would find mottling on the developing roller.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
